took bike to dealer today for brake lite switch recall and they found sidewall cracks in my front tire which was replaced 11 months ago. Anyone have a similiar issue or a recall/concern I can tell the dealer to look up about this. Know this has been an ongoing problem and was hoping someone can help me out.Thanx

I just replaced my second tire with the same issue, it had a little over 5k on it. The first time the cracks were worse than this time but it still sucks and puts unpleasant thoughts in your head while riding.
After calls to Dunlop about this, was handed off to Harley Techical services via service rep. Bottom line is that HD is going to replace tire, my only expense is an hour labor for install. I can accept that, picking up bike later today.
Wow, it's not just Dunlops. I have 11 month old Metzler ME880's and I just noticed the hundreds of tiny cracks on the sidewalls a few days ago. They are about an 1/8" long and in a range about 1/2 inch from the rim to about 1-1/2 inch out. They are on both the front and back tires. I will be talking to my indy on Saturday. I sure hope they are coverd under warranty.
I just had my 3rd tire put on today at my 5k service.
First one started cracking around 900 miles, had it replaced under warranty at the 1k service, the 2nd one started cracking a week later. Just had it replaced today. I had just kept an eye on the cracks. We shall see how long this one lasts.
Oh, the bike is 5 months old.
