2002 Road King fuel tank help

Does anyone know if an 03 - 07 tank will work on an 02 FLHR/I? the only difference I can see is my 02 tank has a place for 2 bungs maybe 1 for carb and 1 for fuel injection is my guess but 03-07 only has 1 any help would be appreciated.

I bought a 2003-07 tank to get painted and put on my bike but it would not work because the 2001 uses both. I believe it is because of the magnetti EFI but not sure.

I have the Delphi fuel injection and it uses just 1 port on the tank the other is plugged. Lots of reasonably priced 03-07 tanks out there may have to take a chance on it.

That is the only difference i think.

Yeah I got mine for 20 bucks on ebay with a small dent in it, couldn't use it though and had to wait to get the one on my bike painted.

Hell I'd give you the one I bought if I still had it but gave it to the painter since he had an 05 King.

Doesn't the 02 have the Delphi EFI in it? If I recall correctly the 1995-2000 is MM EFI with two lines the 02-current has Delphi EFI and uses only one fuel line.
