I would recommend the lowering kit I used on my RK, but I already know someone whose tried it and it made the suspension way too hard. The SG is lowered already Is what he determined?

SG's have 3/4" lower rear shock than the other touring models. That's it.

Hahahaha! I'll give you 10…maybe 15 more years, and you will be saying, "Damn, my *** and back are killing me, and I want a comfortable bitch now!"

Forgot to say I rode a rigid for 5 years too. Really no worse than a lowered softy with stock shocks/springs.

This is the same kit I have on the rear of my bike. As Long as I keep 15-20lbs of air in the rear it doesn't bottom out. As far as my stock front wheel the only STOCK front wheel I have left is an 18" off a 2011 Streetglide that I was running.

Update. I lowered the front on my bike 1" with the HD front end lowering kit. It leveled out the bike real nice. Rides nice and I took it down a bumpy road and the front forks never bottomed out. It was strange though that the springs that came with the lowering kit were longer than the stock springs. What gives why were they longer? But yet the bike sits 1" lower in the front. I know the dampers were shorter. I almost installed the shorter dampers with the stock springs but I believe it would have lowered the front 2"???
