Now I am feeling like I need to rethink my conversion.
You basically just did what I am planning on doing to my 07 rk police.
I want to black it all out, add beach bars, hhi hidden controls, a rear kit with stretched wide fender and bags, maybe stretched tank, detachabl;e fairing with a large led for nav and multi media but wired so I can pop it off for around town and put it on for long trips, hidden lights in the rear with custom cut outs, side panels, and possibly an adjustable triple tree set up to rake the bike, but only after a lot more research to make sure I am not going to ruin the ride with the adjustable neck block and trees, over a cut and weld.'
a 26" wheel with spokes
The transformation you did is very close to what I want to end up with and what I am starting with, lol, I feel like now if I do it I am copying you.
I hadnt seen it done, I just visualized it piece by piece and made my grocery list.
One one hand I am really glad to see yours on the other I dont want to be a poser and just do what everyone else has done either.
Now you got me thinking of what I can do to separate myself from others a little so it is truly unique and not a simple expensive conversion that everyone else has already done.
I wanted to go a combo of flat black and gloss black, leave the black/chrome engine as is for some contrast and add a little red here and there with a few covers in flat black with red lettering that say 103 on the horn, primary and derby covers, plus the rear lights, maybe a hidden plate, etc..
Again bro, beautiful job and bike, I am jealous.
I cant wait to get mine going.

Did you rake the bike?
I was looking for some info on adjustable triple trees vs cut and weld.
I like the idea of being able to return to stock but I dont like the idea of losing the handling or causing the bike to just track all wrong.
Any info would be great

So, what did you do with your front forks ?
Did you powder coat them?
I was trying to decide if I should buy some lowers and sell my stock ones or just paint/powder coat what I have.
