Default 07road king transmision(10k servicing)

Did my 10k on the king today and the service manual stated that the drain plug for the transmission was on the back right side. On my bike it is on the front left and there appears to be 2 other plugs as well. Could the pan be installed backwards? Do i need to get it turned around? i did drain from the forward left corner and it seemed to drain a lot more fluid than the required 32 ozs i put back in. i drained the primary and transmission and have close to 4 quarts in the pan where i should have had a little over 2 (38 for the primary 32 for the tranny). i didn't check the level before i drained and don't ever remember checking it, but it is filled between the f and a now. Could it have been over serviced the whole time? I got about the right amount out of the primary as i drained that first. will finish the 10 k servicing tomorrow after i warm it up and change the engine oil. Should i be worried about that tranny and fluid though. It seemed to be running fine before.

Ive got an 07 SG... The plug that points downward & is close to the RH frame rail drains the Trans. The other two that point forward, the hex head plug is furthermost back of the two drains the oil, the other plug is where an oil temp sensor goes if you ever install one. It sounds like you drained the engine oil out so definately check the oil before you fire it up.

well with that i went and checked engine oil is bone dry, i guess i am going to buy another quart of fluid tomorrow, i guess you live and learn doing my first servicing, don't i feel stupid now. manual threw me off with no pictures and saying it was on the back right side of the pan, didn't realize they share the same pan . Glad i asked before i fired it up though thanks.
