When did they turn the "Dragon" into a Road Course Track ?
The Dragon and the Needles run in Dakota are just local money makers.
It's one thing to risk your own life, but now many innocent others have paid the price because of egotistic asshats still trying to prove their manhood.
Go do it on a Real race track ! And that goes for the cagers too. I personally don't want to be a new hood ornament for the 18 wheelers , that don't have a lick of sense to run that road. .

Had to get that out, really pisses me off......I feel better anyway !

I'm sure you abide by the posted limit laws..... i sold my 180mph bikes for this reason. I would appologize for having a little fun, but I am not one of those egotistics trying to prove anything, all of my trophies are in my basement.... stop by sometime I'll show them to you. As hard as I ride I still do not go overboard. Please live your life carefully and safely and within rules and I will experience it.

P.S. I have raced just about everything out there and was a three sport collegiate athlete. I now spend my days in human cancer genetics research at the OSU Medical Center fighting the fight for everyone regardless of the way they live. Go **** up another tree.

now I feel better.

Party Pooper!!!

Face it. It's a fact of life that if you put man and machine and challenging roads together some folks are going to test their skills. Should everyone testing their skills be doing so - probably not. On the other hand, doing so is within the skill level and capabilities of many others.

It all comes down to riding within your machines and your own capabilities, and on a road like the Dragon, leaving yourself a little extra margin for error so you can deal with the unexpected should it occur.

Nice pics. That's one nice machine as well.

I will say it's fun to watch some of the cruisers there scrape like crazy, although some of it is due to not knowing properly keep speed in turns. I always cringe when I see someone counterbalance into one of the turns (lean their body against the bike lean) while trying to keep speed.

Looking at the floorboard drags wear profile, I am confused as to why it is not a straight line, such as flat pavement would make. How can you make a concave profile dragging on flat pavement?? Looks a little suspect.

Lol, suspect??? It is just the nfld of the picture. The floorboard bracket wore on a flat plane with the road, just looks concave in the pic due to the contour of the bracket and angle of picture. That side (right side) has been spaced out because of the RB exhaust... The left side bracket didn't drag at all just the right side. No need for me to make any if this up.
