Why would anybody want a touring motor that has to be torn down every 10,000 miles to be re-ringed? I'm sure it goes fast and is a hoot to drive, but I would have to tear it down once a year. That's not what I want out of a touring rig.
Keep in mind that most people don't actually go anywhere of distance with their touring bike.
I try to do atleast 100 miles a week. with some scattered trips thought the year. this year I only got 5,000 mile on. but still would have more fun with BFM between my legs.
