Harley Batwing mini apes

Harley Batwing mini apes
Ok, it is hard as heck to find stuff searching on this forum. So I'm gonna ask.
Who actually has these on their bike (HD part # 57485-11 or 57474-11)?
I'm going with these bars and need to know if I can get away with using the OE upper brake line or not? It would help if you put them on and not paid someone to do it for you.
If I can, does the line need to be rerouted and if so how did you do it?
Thanks for the help.
And yes, I know I'll need a +4 clutch cable to keep it in the fairing.

No sir! What I had to do was cut my line & flair a 5 inch piece in where I could hide it in the top of the forks! I bought a braided line for a sink, cut the end off & gently pulled the braiding off. Than slid it over my brake line to cover the joint. Your only other option is buy the whole thing with both flex lines on it & 5 or 6 inches longer!
My original bars had dents put in them to allow for the wiring. These new ones did not so I used a dremmel to open the wiring holes on the switch blocks.
My old bars had the air reservoir in them. The mini apes did not. What I did was get 10 feet of air line & coil it up inside my fairing to act as an air reservoir!
Hatch.

I gott'em and love'em. Used all stock wires, cables and hoses. Still have plenty of slack with bars full left or right.
I routed my clutch cable through inside of the bike frame, wire-tyed loosely to make sure it stays away from the front jug. And the fairing, just put it on the inside of the fairing support bracket then through the fairing hole.
Pulls the same as before, no clutch adj. needed either.
