Found out some time ago that the factory did not install the front motor mount bolt on the left side. Well today I am installing some Street Glide shocks on my EG and low and behold the top left shock bolt was cross threaded. Evidently they just pneumatic wrenched it down and sent her out the door. Bout got a frickin hernia getting that bolt out with a wrench. HD quality control sucks! GRRRR!
I had my gas tank replaced because of bad paint.
My clutch adjuster plate was cross threaded.after 7K miles I now have a gripping clutch(Barnett and hd spring)
I found some parts that they say belong inside my headlight, the dealer installed my black front end and bars.
my wheel weights fell off
could be worse....but the last 2 I had were built 18 miles from my doorstep had no issues and were capable of being rode hard with minimum maint.
