I wouldnt think it is in and of itself, but I would guess that if you have a downstream failure that kills the battery - lets say a bad stator or regulator, that they would cover it.
I looked up the warranty section of the owners manual on line, and in that section, the battery is only mentioned once.
This warranty does not cover:
Parts and labor for normal maintenance as recommended in the Owner's Manual, or the replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear including, but not limited to, the following: tires, lubrication, oil and filter change, fuel system cleaning, battery maintenance, engine tune-up, spark plugs, brake, clutch, chain/belt adjustment and chain replacement.

A friend just had the clutch replaced on his 2011 Ultra with 9,000 miles. He paid for it. Granted his dealer could have pushed to have it covered but he didn't. Shows that there are good dealers and bad ones, regardless what the warranty says.
I had initially called my dealer(privateers in Halifax NS)200 miles away, and he said I'll call you back. When my phone rang,it was Toys for Big Boys in moncton NB(where I was)saying we are coming to get ya.I was impressed.
