Ok so here's my story,
Went to the dealer to purchase some 02 sensor plugs (eliminating the sensors), the parts guy asked "why would I need to block off the ports". I told him that I had purchased new exhaust with mufflers and a Power Commander V. He laughed and said "you wasted your money send it back" I was shocked. Then he went on & on about how great the Screaming Eagle Race Tuner was that I need that instead of the PCV. I don't know if he was just being a good employee or really telling the truth. That's another $225 that I will not spend. To cut a long story short, i'm keeping my PCV when it arrives. I don't care what the parts guys says about them.
I cut the wires on my old 02 sensors and used them as plugs when I put a PCV on my 09 Dyna. PCV is great. He's just trying to sell you the only thing he knows about.
If you're talking about the parts guys at Louisville HD, they know squat....I've had to correct them so many times...or show what I wanted, simple things. One told me hd didn't make fixed fairing wings...Showed him in the book, then he says won't fit my bike anyway, showed him a bike on the floor with them....dumb asses....
I drive the extra miles and use HD Bowling Green....
