I'm 6 feet 240 and have 16s.
Love em but if I could do it again I'd go 18.

At 6' 3" no question 16's. I am 6' 2" with a seat that puts me about 2" down and my hands are right at my shoulder. Very comfortable and easy to control the bike. Good luck

Quick answer, go 16".

6'2" 215 lbs here. Went from Heritage bars to Carlini Flying Apes and thought they were too high. Really liked the riding position with the Heritage bars and the apes ride quite different. Prefer the ape hangers. Carlinis measure 17". Have a Mustang seat and 1" lowered rear shocks. Hands are a little above shoulders. No problems with comfort and looks good.

Good luck!

I have to say...Height does not really matter when it comes to bar size...It is torso length, riding posture and bar adjustment. I am only 5'7" and my 14s are below my shoulders (slightly...). As far as bars, I have had WO Chubbys on my past two bikes and have installed several sets on other bikes. They are awesome...

Same direction I'm beginning to lean...I really like the look of the Carlini's, but they're defiantly not inexpensive! I like the way the chubbys look on the king...classic curves, classic height.

Agreed, Im 5-8" and 14's are shoulder height....in fact you may want to consider a tad higher for your height.

I love the look and quality of the Carlini's for an RK. I forget which one at the moment. Evil Ape maybe? Or the Gangster? They've got personality and I think you get what you pay for.

Completely agree with you and I was actually looking at the flying apes...but I'm going to have to settle for something a bit more cost sensitive for the time being. After all, once I've got all my wiring and cabling done, all I have to do is switch bars (& a little bit of labor) and get any other style of bars I want down the road when I scrape together some more cash.

A least I think it should be that easy.
