Nothing like learning from experience. Even tho, tape on each side of winsheild and a dull bit will work. I found the surest, safest way to make an opening in plexiglass/ lexan/ acrylic. I use a soldering iron. It also voids the chance of causing hair-line fractures in the material.

sounds kinda cheap and unsafe to have on a bike! what if a rock came up and hit it and it broke that easy and now you have something sharp comming at your face... I was told some of the off brands are not safe for that reason
DUDE...you aint read how it happen'd evidently...it was real cold...had a big dull bit...picked up one end with other on the bench...pushed the bit, flexed the shield, broke it....clearview is one of the premier shields
