i was tryin to lower it by 1/2"...so i was gonna drill me some new mountin holes...broke

LOL...thats gotta suck. When You drill in stuff like that, you need to startout with a tiny tiny bit and work up. I put tape on there also like when you drill in fiberglass to mount your chrome racks.

Hate it when that happens. What about a Dremel? Too late now, but in case you wanna buy another one and try it again. After all, it's a man's pride and his need to conquer the elements.
