I like to research before spending $ on stuff and there is SO much out there in the stretched bag area that it's a tad overwhelming. Like, why are the Ness bags $1600? The name?
Do these FF bags seem like a good deal? They do to me.
hi check out ebay ive got there lowers on my sg pretty good not as heavs as hd but my lowers came painted vivid black mounted and loo good the seller that i bought from are pretty good with service (bagger lifestyle) shippin was quick later bud
I have a hard time believing the Ness stuff is better. I think I recall hearing a few people say that it isn't, but my memory is failing to confirm those thoughts. Not a fan of that line either.
The bags I've been looking at are Bad Dad's new shaved ones. LOVE the idea of no visible hardware!!! But talk about expensive!!! I also worry that the internal brackets will limit usefulness of the bag. Looking forward to finally seeing a pair of those in person.
I found a decent deal on 4" fiberglass bags from chopperscycle. 500 bucks for 4" stretched fiberglass bags with liners. I bought a set, haven't had them painted yet, but they look pretty much ready for paint. Imo, Any primered parts will need a little bit of attention, I don't care how good the manufacturer is. Keeping the prep work down to a minimum is key.

The FF bags weren't even a consideration.
i just saw the deal you found. Sounds nice and i'm waiting for your feedback after paint.
