Default Will it damage my engine?

I have a '09 Police Road King 103cu. with ~2k miles on it (long story). I have a set of aftermarket pipes I want to put on it. I do not yet have a hi-flo air cleaner. I do have a power command that is yet to be programmed to my specs. (note no a/c selected, no program for the PC) I am itching to put the pipes on, and then when I find the right a/c put that on too, and then call and get my "tune" for the Power Commander. My question is Is the fuel injection on these bikes are they forgiving or will the additional flow of the pipes and then the A/C cause me to run too lean, and hurt my engine???? Carbs I know about and how to fatten them up to run well with the additional air flow FI, not so much.

thanks for your input

No. it may not run as good as you'd like it to, but it wont hurt anything...

like previous said won't run the best without tuning , i wouldnt worry about just pipes at all , doubt if you would do any damage with pipes and ac but would watch it because it "could" depending on just how lean it got. besides u have a power commander on it just use a map that is close till u can dial it in exactly for your setup why risk a remote chance

I am sure there is someone around with a map for your PC that is close to what you are running.

The O2 sensors will call to add fuel if they sense it leaning out, and the PC is downstream of the bikes ecm/pcm so as long as its adding some fuel also you should be fine. You may even end up a little rich depending on what map is downloaded to the PC.....but as stated it wont be perfect..
If your really concered, wait till you get everything you want THEN put all on and then get it dyno'd only once.....ultimatly thats the safest route..
