I changed my bars when I first got it to the reduced reach touring bars and added extended throttle , brake and clutch cables but don't know how much longer they really are. What I would like to know is what size apes could I go with without changing cables again. If anybody has the pull backs and knows how much longer the cables are please let me know. I don't want to go real high with apes , I am only 5' 7". And do they make it that much better of a ride with the apes. It is a 02 Electra Glide
Thanks Clap
10" Yaffe Monkey Bars might fit your bill.... i am 5'6" and i have them on my 2010 Stret Glide...and i REALLY like them..
I did the install myself, the clutch and break needed to be just a little longer then stock, i actually ordered +4 on both, figured why not cuz they were basically the same price as +2...the +4 lines were PLENTY long, +2 probably would've been enough, so your slightly longer cables for the pull back bars are probably long enough....
Good luck......
