while its apart before it goes back, together, have u given any thought to inner cam bearings and getting the heads redone by a good head porter, pretty sure u could be in high 90's and about 105 torque with the 255 cams. it will still be a bit hard to start so, even manual decompression releases are pretty much a necessity

I am going with the SE inner cam bearings and 204 cams and SE tuner..trying to keep cost down since this was unexpected..and I think that will be plenty for me..
make sure u get the race tuner u can program not the cheaper one that only the dealer can load stuff on your bike. u can do your own smart tune runs. I have always been able to get any bogging or dead spots out with mine trying different programs
That's crap. The moss/magnussen act says they have to prove the modification caused the failure.
Looks like you have a fight on your hands.
The MoCo is a joke. If I buy a new bike it won't be a Harley. Too much. They don't care about the customer, they care about money.
How does a tuner wipe out a bearing. Absolutely disgusting. Yep,Harley is making a profit by screwing their customers.
I dont think you're reading carefully, its an extended service plan, not a factory warranty. There is a big difference and the Magnuson-Moss warranty act does not apply. The contract, which he signed, clearly prohibits these kinds of modifications.

If I could offer up any advice on here use Timken bearings. You will be glad you did. One of my H.D. inner cam bearings failed in Yellowstone this spring and cost me a complete motor rebuild including the rod set.
