Default Power Vision Tuner

On the Auto tuning would I start with the Original stock map or should start with a downloaded one from Dynojet? I have been using the map which I download from Dynojet for my setup, but was reading somewhere to use the stock map, then auto tune. Thanks for the help...

This would be a good reason to utilize Fuelmoto as they could have loaded a map that would gotten you in the ball park. Just saying . . .

some really big news on the powervision front:

Automated tuning is now available, for full info, screenshots and the latest beta firmware as of 9/18 you can go to http://blogs.dynojet.com/index.php/2...now-a-reality/

Dynojet has already left the competition in the dust with its innovative Power Vision flashing tuning system for fuel injected Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Power Vision supports ALL Delphi ECM equipped Harleys, offers the most tunes for popular aftermarket parts, includes exclusive features not available anywhere at any price, and now an embedded auto-tuning technology that makes tuning your bike easier than ever.

The new Autotune technology leverages years of dyno testing and tuning directly into the Power Vision. The process is automated, fast, and best of all you reap the benefits of technology in the form of a refined, powerful tune! Power Vision can utilize one of two different methods to automatically tune your bike; the Autotune Basic method that uses your OEM narrowband sensors or Autotune Pro that uses wideband o2 sensors from Dynojet’s Autotune wideband control module. The entire process is handled by the Power Vision (setting up the tune, logging data, fixing the tune, and flashing the tune) which means that you don’t need to fumble around with a computer in order to realize professional results.

Start with the one that is closest to your current configuration (engine mods) for that will put you closest to where you end up, and will take less data logging, and auto tuning to get there.
You can use your "stock" but it will take more logging, and auto tunes to get you where you need to be.

The maps on Dynojets web site are generic in nature, where Jamie @ Fuelmoto have many that are more refined to fit more bolt ons in the real world so they can get you even closer-to start with.

At any rate, have fun with it, it is a jammin little tool.

+1... However......

Don't discount the DynoJet tunes. I had an older bike and Jaime didn't have a tune with my mods. He referred me to DynoJet. They started with the HD download tune I had on the bike and sent me new tune. The bike runs better than it has for years....

I have a FM tune on one bike and a DynoJet tune on the older bike. Both tunes have the bikes running excellent and at this time, I have no reason to use the PV auto tune option.

This is totally cool...I just installed a PV with Autotune (haven't even started the bike yet...finished up last night). This will make it so much easier.

when I do multiple autotunes, if I use compare in the PV software, using the last autotune, comparing it to the one before it, then using Delta, when the maps look almost identical, that should be as close I am going to get? correct

Been work great. Thanks

I'm confused, do you need an additional module or part? Or is the autotune capability just a free software upgrade? Thanks.
