Street Glide Riders
On my Ultra when the fuel level gets down to 35-ish the ODO changes to miR 35-ish.
I installed SG guages on my Ultra and all I get is a fuel light then I manually have to chg it to see miR.
Does that sound right?

mine too, i think its 50 but its been so long i cant remember for sure

I think the light comes on with aproximately 1gallon left, so depending on your MPG about 40 miles to empty.
I never associated the light with the r40 on the odo, will have to notice next time.

12 Sg here and this just happened to me 2 days ago. When I first noticed the change it was at r42. I went ahead and drove it down to about r20 and it changed to low.

Anyone riding a 09?
These gauges are from a 09 on a 12 bike.
I let it go way past light, when i ck'd it was on low before pushing I got gas but it never chg'd over.
Did it with stock gauges but not now.

My bike used to switch to the miles remaining, hasn't done it recently. I don't remember if it happened at the same time as the low fuel light came on or not.
I know that neither seems consistent. The miles remaining would jump up or down by 10 in less than a mile. I've seen the low fuel light on when the trip ODO is anywhere between 170 and 205 miles.
