I LIVE IN CENTRAL FL NOW BUT AM FROM WESTERN KY. WHEN I RETIRED I HAD AN 03 ROAD KING AND 07 ROAD GLIDE. in KY I always got in the high 40's on fuel miliage. Would regurally go 220 miles before filling up.The first time gas went to $4.00 a gallon in fl my mileage went to crap on both bikes. mileage was in the mid to high 30's Totaled 07 RG got 11 RG Ultra. same story . Sold it and decided to quit riding due to crazy *** drivers in FL. Do not think i have another crash left in me. Couldn't stand it and bought a 13 RG CUSTOM. Checked mileage got even 40. I am thinking ethanol is the reason. It really doesn't matter much because of the love bugs and rain here. It is daresom to go for a ride. And did iI mention the crazy *** drivers here. Every time I ride there is a close call. Wish I didn"t like to ride and could just quit. Any what mileage do you get?
Best I got was in CO 50 mpg worst I got was trying to get across SD fast 28 mpg, average 39 according to this fuel app I use. I've seen jumps from 40 to 47 in WI running no ethanol compared to MN.
but there are more factors such as winds, mods, weight, right wrist and other rider controlled factors including windscreen size and use of deflectors etc ( wind resistance)
I'm at 43 MPG running 65~70 MPH on my local 2 lane roads. Tested over thousands of miles. with some mods.

I'm getting anywhere from 38-45 depending how spirited I feel when I ride. The mileage is considered normal anywhere between the two #s stated above and rarely constant, unless the style remains such.
Getting 44 on my EG which is normally all highway running about 73 mph indicated actually about 70. Only one station in town that doesn't have ethanol and they are the highest priced.

I know what you mean about drivers in Florida, I'm here in Fort Myers, Snow Birds will be here soon, blood pressure shoots up from 120 to 140, my DR wanted to know why.... You have to watch your self down here, the'll kill you in a heart beat...

'11 Limited, A/C, Power Duals, SE Fatshots, Dyno'ed SERT: 34-35 in town, 45-50 highway. About the same as my '05 stage 1 RKC, I'm happy.
your getting more mpg on the highway, than town driving, mine is the just the opposite, I get 40+ in town and then doing 75 80 highway down to about 35 mpg. I know if I keep it at 55 or 60 it gets much better, but the sign says 70..
