Service manual
Does anyone know of a good place (other than the dealership) to buy a service manual?
Their charge for a 2007 touring manual (99483-07) is 42.90, but want $11.26 for shipping, totaling $54.16. Chicago HD sells that manual for $46.40 with only $6.50 for shipping, totaling $52.90. Not much difference, but a buck is a buck. OTOH, I've noticed that Zanotti often has the parts in stock, while Chicago's internet-sales dept. is separate from retail sales, and they must order most parts for on-line sales. This means Zanotti, if they have it in stock, will likely get the part to you quicker. Here's a link to Zanotti's inventory list: https://www.zanottimotor.com/HdInv.pdf. According to this list, they have 2000-2007 touring manuals in stock now.
Got mine from: http://www.cyclemanual.com/HD/Harley%20Index.htm- with shipping about the same cost at the HD dealer - fast shipping.99483-07 for the 07 Touring Models
