Been using it ever since my bike was new. Works great, no issues. Spray on straight, no dilution, and let it dissolve the bugs. Wipe off with a microfiber cloth. I don't have to follow it with detail spray and it does not streak or cloud.

Love that peroxide. Works like a charm. Gotta love that Eureka Springs too. Some great riding around the area.

Not the same stuff that they bleach hair with....it won't hurt a thing.

Yes it does, but you can't lay a hot towel over the whole front end. Spray the whole front end down with hydrogen peroxide, I use the 50:50 mix, wait a few minutes and wipe it off with a wet towel of your choice. Finish up with spray detailer or pledge and a micro fiber and you are good to go.

I don't need no stinkin' chemicals.
Gas? Wax? Soap?.....all chemicals I think??????

Go easy on the Dihydrogen Monoxide -it's bad for environment, lol! http://www.dhmo.org/

Due in part to its widespread use in industry, Dihydrogen Monoxide (DHMO) is involved in many environmental incidents each year. While most are unavoidable given current technology, there can be little doubt that the presence of DHMO in each significantly increases the negative impact to the environment.

Yep...peroxide breaks-down proteins and bugs are "high" in protein...just ask the natives.

Interesting! Never heard of the peroxide trick. I will have to try it on the stubborn splatters. I used the ammonia based stuff for years until I read some warnings about that. Then I just started using warm water and that seems to work fine but you have to work at the big splatters. That's where I thnik I may give peroxide a go.

I will definitely need to try this. I'm to a huge fan of constantly detailing so any help to reduce time in that area is great.

Years and years of use, and it's never, ever harmed the paint. I just use it full strength. I mean you can put the stuff in your mouth and rinse it out so it's certainly not going to hurt your precious paint......and I mean that literally.

I have been using Scrubbing Bubbles for a number of years. Take the bike to the car wash, spray all the areas coated with bugs, fenders, winddscreen, bags, etc. Let it sit for a few minutes and then hit it with the power wash. All is good. I will try the peroxide trick for a comparison.

I thought I'd heard somewhere that MoCo advises that if you get bugs on your windshield that you're supposed to toss it and head on to the dealer and buy a new one!
