I have a 2011 FLHX. Had repeated lighting problems with rear tail light bar shorting out. HD dealer replaced sockets first time and replaced entire light bar with a Kurakyn LED tail light bar this past week. Before I could even get the bike home, the load equalizer they installed burned up. They towed it back to shop and said they then read directions and found the load equalizer wasn't needed. I've found mixed info about this on web so asking all here, is the equalizer needed or did the HD shop just screw up?
if not you'll have to check the install instructions for the Krapkin and what ever stuff they have installed.
there have been FLHX owners posting here about problems with the trilight bar taking out the rear lighting, you may want to do a search for some of those posts.
