ultra, i did the 106. im $2500 in parts WITH the CRs & heads worked. after reading so many posts with dyno numbers, im satisfield with my numbers. im pulling similar tq numbers as guys with 120rs and 117s.

too many people get on here and debate the heads, cams, who should do the work, etc, blah blah bullshit. you'll be happy with it...i pull wheelies, smoke stock dynas, and have beat my roomate's Ninja 600 in stoplight drags

DAMN Thats an amazing improvement for $2500. Did you do the work yourself? Which kit did you use?

Gearhead3: I know this is an old thread, but I was doing some searching. I have the 107 on my '09 Ultra. I also notice is runs warmer (even though I put a oil cooler on it as well.) but more so do get the kickback when starting warm. What is the SE compensator you are talking about in your post?

Okay, gents, another season on your 107's. Still happy campers? Any problems? And wondering how much more heat you're talking over stock? Thanks for you time.

Still happy here, a bit more heat but not as bad as when it was stock with the cat.

Update: Another year and a total of 11,000 miles on my FM107 and still runs flawlessly. Still the best money I've spent on my 2010 Ultra. While not necessary, I did add the AIM clutch and compression releases this year.

So far all the replies except 1 or 2, have put 1 season's worth of miles (or less) on their bikes. In my books, reliable motor upgrades should be trouble free for > 80K miles or I might as well leave it alone.

Anyone out there with some real mileage on their 107's that would deem it to be a reliable bore size?
You are not going to find any one with crap load mileage with crap load of upgrades most riders ride 20K miles a year don't have time to let their bike sit in the shop for weeks.

Thank you for the replies. Been sitting on the fence for awhile now and I think I'm gonna take a ride over to Little Chute this spring. I think I'll pass on the heads and just go for the extra cubes and a good tune.
