Just started happening where the sound on all speakers just disappears. No Nav on, CB or Com. If I rock the switch it will work sometimes. I have not verified the head set sound is present. external sound is intermittent. If I rock the switch somtimes it will come back. I have turned the radio off and back on. Sometimes that works and sometimes not. I could hit a bump in the road and either lose the sound or if it was off or it could come back. My thougt is the switch. Any ideas?

Sounds like loose wiring or fitting on either the speaker end or the radio end. I wouldn't be surprised at either. Sometimes wires wiggle a bit while riding.

Let me assure you it is not your switch. It is the HK head unit itself. More than likely your unit has suffered vibration damage to it. This has been a huge problem with these units on bikes from 2006 and up. I also have a 2008 ultra classic that had the same symptoms. Over time the problem will get worse and it may come to a point that flipping the speaker switch will not get the sound to come back. A cause to this vibration damage is the direct result of broken fairing brackets and handle bar riser bolts. If your bike is out of warranty call iron cross. They will make your unit better than new.
