Worth a try.

Interesting. I put a PM wheel on from Coastal Moto that came with the ME880 mounted. I installed the sprocket myself & it's on right. Going straight, silent, lean left or right, woo, woo, woo. It's got to be the tires. I just ignore it now.

Yep... I don't do well with keeping up with tire pressure or bolts.

Being hearing that noise for over 30 years on every bike I've owned. It's your tires. Don't worry about it.

I had a noisy rear tire on my 2010 RKC after 7k miles. The tire was cupped pretty badly even though I kept the tire pressures up to standard. It was very loud.

The tire still had reasonably good tread so I experimented with belt sanding the edges of the tires to knock off the high spots. Figured I had nothing to loose because I would have to replace the tire anyway if it didn't work.

It turned out to work really well. Almost completely eliminated the noise and I got another 3,000 miles out of the tire before the wear bars began to show. Here's a picture I took while doing the belt sanding.

My Heritage (RIP) had the original dunlops that didnt whooooooooo and replacement ME880's didnt either. Not to beat a DH but I am experiencing a harmonic whoooooooo and not a humm, though it seems hands down tires just wanna be sure I should not be looking elsewhere on the bike.
Belt sander, nice idea!
