Default Broken Baffle...Now What?

2009 Road King Classic...Turns out the rattle I hear is a broken baffle. Rather then spend for a new O.E. muffler ($300), I was looking at HD Screamin' Eagle Street Performance Slip-Ons (Unless you have a better recommendation)
80721-09. I don't want to be much louder than stock, but would like a little more ooomph. Can I install these without changing the air filter and getting a re-map?

you can pretty much do anything you want to the exhaust if you have a stock style air cleaner- no remap, tuner etc.

stock style mufflers sell for about $50 a set on my local craigslist.

so look on your craigslist

you could get a performance set of mufflers...but you won't get any gains without changing to a high flow air cleaner.

performance mufflers do not have to be louder- some choose loud

Yes, you can change the slip-ons without remapping or getting a new AC.
