Default True duals??

Evening friends. I'm making my list of things I want to do to my new to me 08 FLHTCU, one of which is kicking around the idea of a true dual exhaust system. What are the advantages, and disadvantages of these. Looking at a V&H system. Other mods I have planned are a Big Sucker breather, and XiED's. Your thoughts? Thanks in advance for your input.

Originally I changed to duals to reduce the heat for my wife's legs as a passenger. They helped with that a bunch along with the fuel management, etc. That harley sound I wanted was the another plus. Performance hasn't been an issue for us. Good luck.

V&H Dresser Duals with V&H Hi-Output slip-on's here. Love the sound & look! I think the performance loss is probably not noticeable except on a dyno sheet. The heat reduction is noticeable however. Good luck, there's lots of choices out there!

I chose the V&H dressers. Then i added the V&H fishtails, the look I wanted. I love my ride, it sounds and looks great. I get a lot of compliments. BTW, I am using Redline oil. On the dyno, I lost a 1/2 of a foot pound, I can not feel it in the pants. I am Stoked.

I love mine. My dyno guy tells me I probably gave up a few ponies but my butt dyno saw no difference. The sound and look is awesome IMO.
