Just got thru with beginner M.C. course
I agree with the posts re Beginner course. It had been 25 years since I last rode a 350 Honda. Now looking to get my Dad's '98 Dyna Low Rider.
So glad I took a beginner class thru the Louisianna State Police. (You can go to their Website & follow the links to sign up.) They go thru all the fundamentals of riding. It also taught me that I have more to learn before getting out on the road!
If I hadn't been getting this bike, I would definetly look for one more suited to my size & weight & for drivability. A Kawasaki Ninja would not be a good choice due to the handlebars. I am sure there are others out there Not suited to the beginner rider.
