I will be getting my new 10 inch Yaffe monkey bars and cable kit on thurs. Im not the handiest of people but am willing to help. Anyone in Omaha Nebraska ever put any on. I hate to take it to the stealership to do. If anyone has done and can help let me know!
I bought the supersize kit also for it, im just not the best mechanically inclined person. But i me, my dad and a buddy are gonna give it a shot. Any tricks to get the wireing to go thru the pipes??
10's was able to use stock, just reroute it some, the 12's i had to get longer ones
please define "rerout" cuz i put 10s on my bike i couldn't see anyway that the brake and clutch could go throught the faring, like they are suppsoed to, and be long enough to reach.....
I'm curious to hear how you did it.....

run the clutch cable between the frame engine, along the left side of the frame into the fairing and back out the hole on inner. (going from memory - but this should get ya where you need to be)
as for brake i just ran it next to the bar into the inner cap. - i had triples off, so i way have fished the master thru a diff way, was 2 years ago and i dont have those bars anymore. i have abs - so not sure if line is any longer/shorter but stock cable work with the 10's
