The NEW Harley Soft Lowers! (from China) see pics...
Yes, The soft lowers are from China.
Trust me, I know not everything can be USA but... anyhow.
I love the concept, and the design, (my wife actually got them for me for our 13th wedding Anniversary). Seems the dealer she ordered them from was back ordered, stopped at another dealer, they were out too.
They called another dealer that had 1 last set, so I went and got them.
Fit was so so... right side went on no prob, left side the fit is crappy... and since they have the bar & shield logo, its easy to see its a bad fit.
Im sure they will wear in, etc...
I go to pull the left zipper down (not hard at all) and the zipper pull pops off. Mind you, prior to this I see a tag on the inside, says "Harley Davidson" and also says "Made in China".
My question, they are such a simple item, why not make them here in the US and make them better quality? With tax they are $95bux and probably the same quality (and made in same factory) as the JCWhitney $45.00 ones!
I have hear they work and cant wait to try them on the road, but man, what a disappointment...

Oh, one more thing 
They have built in "reflective" piping, and ALSO come with 2 reflectors.
See the pic... The instructions say to mount one to each side of the front fender.
(WTF! Really!!??) not a chance! LOL!

You will be returning them right?
For $95 they should be better quality then that.
You gotta return them and return everything that is sub quality or damaged.
Only way to send HD a message that we can't keep paying top dollar for crap. made elsewhere.

Like others had said,,,the only way for it to stop is complain... enough is enough..
and buy as much American as you can
