2012 streetglide trans noise
I have a 2012 Streetglide with 950 miles on it. I have an unusual noise coming from my trans. I have to get it fully warmed up before the noise appears (usually ride for an hour or more). When I stop, put the bike in neutral, and let the clutch lever out and the noise appears and goes away when the clutch lever is pulled in. I have had it at my local dealer and they have replaced several bearings (2 needle bearings and 1 spacer bearing). I took the bike out for a long ride right after I picked it up and the noise is still present. I took the bike back to the dealer and after having it for three weeks said there was nothing wrong. I have several friends with newer touring models, plus I have had and '08 streetglide, '08 CVO roadking, and '11 CVO Ultra and none of them have the same noise. The service manager tells me to not worry and that it is normal (even though he has admitted that there is an unusal noise). I'm concerned that something is wrong and don't want to ride it. So any ideas of what steps to take next would be helpful. Thanks
