After purchasing parts at the Harley dealer this morning (9 AM) I spent much of the day putting the bike back together. I had breaks in between as I had to do my husband / fatherly duties.
It was close to 10 PM when I took the bike out for a short test ride. Tomorrow I will take it on a longer ride. The SuperTrapp is definitely quieter and it looks great! Although the previous owner had the bike serviced I went ahead and put Syn3 in everything along with a fresh oil filter. I also changed the exhaust gaskets.
My thanks to all for support and advice! I really appreciate having this user forum as a resource.
