Question Outer Banks Motel
Headed out on the bike to the Outer Banks of NC in a couple of days and wondered if anyone had a recommendation on a small motor inn styled place to spend a night that isn't too pricey?

Last time I was there I pitched a tent at a campground. Perfect time of year for that about now.

This time of the year you will have no trouble. You can just ride the beach road and stop at one that looks good. You might try The Sea Oats. Been there for years. Always nice and clean. Good luck. Be sure to catch a meal at the "Kill Devil Grill".

Hampton Inn at Corrolla is nice, +1 on the Kill Devil Grill. You can stop by and see Dennins Anderson's Grave Digger Garage at Kill Devil Hills also if you are into that.

+1 on the Sea Oats and make sure to stop at Awful Arthur's on Beach Rd. Best Seafood in OBX in my opinion. Been going there for 20+ years. If you are looking for upscale, you can try Kelly's. Another fine establishment

Thanks for all the ideas guys....especially the eating establishments. Looking forward to no crowds and more riding. Been in the Carolinas a long time and this is my first Outer Banks trip!
