Default Harley Authority Functional Jacket

I am curious if anyone has this jacket. When you order from the harley dealer you have to know your right size because you cannot return it. I wear an x-large in all my clothing so I believe I need an XL, but do I go with the tlal because I think these run short or is there another jacket I can compare it to. This will be my x-mas present and I think its a nice jacket form what I hear. Thanks

Can't help you with this particular jacket, but I've purchased 2 H-D jackets (not leather) and they have run true to size. I wear an XL and they have fit me good. For your reference.

Good Luck.

I have the HD FXRG leather in large and it fits well with room for the liner. But it's a riding jacket, not a stand around the camp fire jacket, and the cut and fit is good for riding. Other riding jackets, Tourmaster, I also wear a large.

If I were you I would make sure I try one on and confirm your size before its a sad Christmas morning, specially with that NON return policy!

I had the same problem but dealer didn't have my jacket in stock (illumination) so try on a similar style jacket at the dealer.

I've had a few HD jackets too, and they were true to size, but for the money they want and with this unreasonable no return policy, I'd insist on some size assurance or find one to try on. There really is no reason in my mind to offer a no return policy on an unused jacket, but if they insist on that, I'd insist they ensure the sizing was accurate.

Yeah Harleys XL size is pretty true to my other XL jackets maybe just a tad longer in sleeves and in length but that is good.
I wear a Harley XL vest and a Harley XL leather jacket and Harley XL shirts.

Huh? If a dealer does not have a helmet, gloves, boots, jacket, or pants available to try on and have to order and will not exchange for correct fit, I'm not playing that game, period.

Well I wear x-large in their t-shirts and any other coat I wear. I think the x-large will be fine, but I might want to go with a long for when my arms are on the bars riding because it rides up a little ways. I can't believe Harley will not return it if it doesn't fit. I mean if they do get me an x-large and I go and try it on there and it doesn't fit I am still stuck with it. Its still new and I can't help it they don't carry this jacket. But what do you do, its the policy

I have never heard of a none-returnable with pre-orered jackets.
I have ordered several for me and my wife.
Unless it is a close out jacket.
Then I would call HD shops to find one that fit me.
All of our HD jackets has been true to size.
We have around 4 0r 5 for each of us.
But we usually just wait on clearance to get what we want. You can save a bunch.
I got a Hd orange stripe and black for $120, that was a $260 savings
