Default Tire dressing

Does anyone use tire dressing on your bike tires, if so what do you use?

Tire dressings are extremely dangerous on a motorcycle tire, IMO, keep them clean and ride on.

Never...not even on a cage, but it'll cause your sled to fall down and go boom in a corner. So I never would suggest it on the scooter.

Harley Black. On the shelf at the dealership. Part #94628-05 Makes tires black and shiny, lasts through rain, washing, I use it about twice a year. IMO the only thing you should use on mc tires.

HARLEY BLACK !!!!!!!!
If they make it and it states it is for your motorcycle tires then it must be o.k. to use.
If you loose control of your motorcycle BECAUSE of the product and you can PROOF it......
Guess what ?
One word..............LAWYER
Ride Safe To ALL...........

Rarely! But I have on a few occassions. There is no need to listen to the doomsday advocates if you use the dressing judiciously.

Do not ever spray the dressing directly on the tire as you are bound to get some on the tire tread. If you use a spray-on type dressing, spray it onto a rag or sponge first and then wipe the tire sidewall. Use a solvent such as paint thinner to clean any dressing that gets around the edge of the tire to the tread.

Use the dressing sparingly as any excess will migrate through capilary action and centrifugal force. In the hours and days immediately following the dressing application inspect the tire to make sure this isn't happening, and if it is, clean the tire tread as noted above. Note that all dressings are not created equal in this respect. Some will creep more than others.

The bottom line, if you use a tire dressing, is to use a little common sense.

Westleys Bleach White is all you need to use on your tires. Cleans them right up and gives them a new tire finish. Just follow the instructions.
