Default Best True Duals HELP?

Just picked up a used 2012 FLHTCU and need to shed these stock pipes for True Duals.... My 08 FLHX has Rineharts which I love but they changed the design for the 2010 up. I hate the look of the pipes coming out on the same side of the bike and crossing under. Some of the other designs I see out there look decent but impede maintenance. There are so many brands (MGS, Bassini, V&H, Sampson, Bub etc.... Who has the best set up????

Figured I would throw it out there to the crowd for suggestions. Want the best looking and best performance pipes (in black) that I can get.... not concerned about cost.

If you really liked your previous Rineharts take a look at the Rinehart Classic duals which feature the conventional left and right exit like on your 2008 bike, unlike the Xtreme duals which crossover on the right side. As far as true duals go Rinehart sets the bar. Many have tried to copy them, some better than others.

I just installed MGS TD's, great quality & service, lots of good things about Fuel Moto as well, tons of info on many posts on this subject. Good luck, congrats on your new ride.

I had the same reservations about the Rinehart XT True Duals but I went ahead and got them anyway.
I guess they "grew on me" and I do like the sound and the loss of the heat produced by the catalytic converter.
I may switch the 4" mufflers out for the stock S/E mufflers when I do a long trip as they do get a bit much after a while.

I like my MGS duals. Butt dyno says they helped a bunch too. Price was right and the guys at MGS were nice and easy to work with.

You have two options not to have the pipes both come out the right side then cross under.
MGS or Rinehart Classic.

I would go with MGS..................once you go with Rinehart headers you can only use Rinharts mufflers.
MGS also offers 3 baffles: mild, decent, loud
Rinehart offers 2: loud and louder

Default 3rd Party Dyno Test

I went to Kingman Arizona last week to attend a bike night at Performance Specialists with the gracious owner, Kelly. I had spoken to him on the phone a few weeks earlier, and he was not buying what I was telling him about the MGS True Dual System. He sells a lot of other True Dual systems (won't name names) and this guy KNOWS performance. he had 2 dyno's at his shop, he conducts classes for both Dynojet and Harley-Davidson. His resume is nearly unmatched as he has been a part of countless projects, and has done R&D for many performance parts as well. Needless to say, there was no fooling this guy on our product.

When I got there, he had a customer's bike on the dyno already that had a 95 kit, stage 2 performance tune, stock head pipes with SE mufflers, and open air filter. It was already making good numbers, and I knew our system was going to increase them a bit, but wasn't sure how big those numbers would be considering all that was already done to the bike. He made multiple baseline runs at various tempuratures to make sure we had a good honest baseline to start out with. Then we took the exhaust off and replaced it with ours. To make a long story short, our pipes made about 10 more HP and almost 8 ft lbs of torque more by simply bolting them on. He was REALLY impressed as was I. I have seen this happen many times before, but the numbers on another really experienced tuner's dyno with him controlling everything made me feel really good.
Just thought everyone here might appreciate that story.
Kudos to Kelly over at Performance Specialists for his hospitality and making it happen with his audience of customers observing the whole thing. It was a great time and made me realize that I should do this in other tuners shops as well. I will be actively seeking out shops across the country who want to see what the MGS System can do first hand. A lot of guys out there aren't buying it like Kelly wasn't, but after I physically went out to see him and let him try these out for himself, he is a believer.

Here is the dyno sheet he printed out for me from HIS dyno.
