the polk audio MM651s sound great and are a great deal for the price (about 119 on amazon). The MM651s are 2.7 ohm speakers so they'll connect right up to your stock HD radio and will be a drastic improvement over stock speakers. What I would do if I were you would be bring the bike to the dealer and have them activate the fader on the radio. This should be a freebie program job that takes 30 seconds. Use the rear speaker outputs on the radio for your lowers this way you maintain a 2 ohm load for front and rear. By running 2 ohm speakers in series, you're effectively doubling the impedance therefore effectively cutting the output power of the radio by almost 1/2. You can always add an amp at a later time such as the alpine 4 channel ktp455U which is about $120 on amazon as well.
