pull the maxi fuse (big orange one next to fuse panel) and wait for a minute. then put it back in and start the bike.


check the fuse panel for the neutral indicator fuse. and it sounds like you're chasing the eletrical gremlin. start at one end and work your way up

Pulled all fuses and they look good, pulled the maxi(40) and it has a hole in the middle. Not sure if that is right but shining a flash light through it shows the hole. Fuse looks melted when viewing with your eye but a flashlight through it shows the hole being perfectly round.

Put it back in after a few minutes and the bike starts without the clutch pulled in again. No red key. Did it a few times and seems to work fine now.

good ****. its good practice to reset the computer by pulling the big fuse whenever you do electrical work. and yes the hole is supposed to be there.
