What did you use for a kickstand??... mine sits way up straight with the burly kit on and a good wind could blow it right over... Len

My knee draggin', footboard scrapin' days are behind me, and I have noticed no issues with anything dragging.

when i put lower shocks on my RK it sat up to straight so i bought this kick stand wedge kit from drag specialtys that goes under the kick stand mount to change the angle . it was less than $50

On a 2012 the kickstand mount is different.. it's part of the floorboard mounts..

All went fine today no issues no bottoming out and it handled quit well, the only thing that I didn't think of till tonight was readjusting the head light down, but that's no biggy. The kit was from Road 6 . It was a good test the roads in Philly are real shitty.

Default When removing the shock

did you have to remove the air from the shock before installing the lowering blocks?

I want to put my kit on tomorrow but I don't know if I have to relieve the air pressure on the shock before removing it.

Thanks

Your bike looks sweet!

No didn't remove any air for installation but added a little after just as a safety measure.

Just a heads up! If you lower your bike make sure to check the tension in your drive belt.

Another heads up: my friend lowered his Road King 2" and the little bit of bottoming out he did caused him to wear through the wire cluster on inside top of fender, shorting out his lights.

I used the L.A. Chopper kit, drops you straight down so did not change angle of shocks, got it from a member here and real happy with it....
