I have to store my 2013 streetglide in my barn for the winter. (cold, Northern Maine)
Has anyone used the cycle shell? Opinions please..
Any other suggestions for covers, shells etc?
Thanks
Peace and Prayers
I don't know about the cycle shell...but I would put stabil in the gas, change the oils and if it is on a dirt floor put a piece of plastic under it so that when you cover it with a cover the humidity from the ground won't get under the cover...
As stated just make sure you are not getting any moisture. That can cause corrosion and other issues. I would get a breathable cover for it or sheets so it can breath and avoid condensation. Fuel stabilizer and a battery tender if you have power.
I owned a cycle shelter for several winters. Very satisfied with the quality for the price. A lot like a bike barn. Fully enclosed, even has a floor...
If you are storing in a barn, plug the ends of the exhaust pipes to keep out both mice and moisture. And as suggested, moth ***** to keep the mice away from under the seat and the wiring. They can do major damage.
Park it in your kitchen lol.....im sure a cycle shell would be fine. its completely sealed so you wont have to worry about critters messin with your ride.
