I'm having an issue with an oil leak from the manifold where the oil filter screws in to the oil cooler on my 07 Ultra Classic. It only appears to be an issue after I've run the bike. The hoses from the manifold have a small amount of oil dripping down off of them. I was asking a parts representative at a local Harley dealership about the issue and he said that they're two gaskets that have been known to be primary issues with leaks (Part# 63066-07 & 63084-07). Has anyone else experienced this issue. The prior oil change was done prior to me purchasing the bike, so is it possible that they just over filled the oil tank and the pressure forces it out the hose connection at the manifold? The oil level on the dipstick does appear to be a little higher than is recommended in manual for a cold engine.

If the oil filter was installed too tight when you take it off you inadvertently loosen the cooler addapter, so now you will need to remove filter again, take oil cooler adapter off replace that gasket use red lock tite and reinstall adapter and put filter back on only a little tighter than hand tight.
