Great info Keystone...Thanks. I'd like to find just the speakers also without the mic and a thinner wire that runs to the plug in. I don't use the mic and have if folded out of the way for now if I use that helmet.
90 bucks! ouch ...[:@] i built a few of them when i had my wing from a set of koss headsets that had a low impedance mic and those things blowed the j&mheadsets away...i bet these sound real good but thats $$$$$....ok im cheap.....i will be building a new set for my 07 ultra when i get the manuals that show the pin outs for the 7 pin plug, when i do i will share that here.....the parts are cheap from about any electronics store ( not sure if radio crap has the 7 pin plug ) but i could do a small post of how i did it......might do it yet this month...and the cb worked better on the wing with the 600 ohm mic that the j&m set did had a real noticable amount of gain...i think about 30 bucks or so would do it....and you can do ityourself!!!!!!! got to shoping for parts ..........will see how it goes

Please let us know. I'm on the verge of shelling out almost $600 for a Noland with built in headset. Your way makes much more sense. I do have tech experience. Thanks
yeah just little soldering...pins are small but its not too bad..also i have a 30watt gun with a desoldering bulb on it..if things get a bit messy it makes for real easy clean up...the hard part is finding the headset..got to be small and light yet strong enough for life on the bike....will keep you all posted
