HD has that seat demo thing going on. I tried several HD seats and the best for me was the Road Zepplin. Not the sexiest looking seat but it was pretty comfortable. I found I could handle about 6-8 hours of seat time in 1 day on it.
An Air Hawk helps everything! With my Air Hawk on the RZ I can ride all day!
I tried a Mustang Vintage Super Tourer, looked sexy, but both me and Momma hated it! (My signature pic still shows the Mustang.)
I had MCC redo my stock sg seat got it back and rode on a 5800 mile trip and I have not one complaint however I will say that when I first got it I didn't really care for it but the more I rode on it the better I liked it . I had a Corbin that was the same way. I would let MCC do another seat if I ever need one done for sure. Remember though asses are like opinions everybody has one and their all different.

As mentioned several times, every body has a different butt. My stock seat is great for me in cold weather. Hot weather was a problem until I put an HD Circulator pad on. Great difference and made hot weather riding pleasant again for me.
Thanks for all the replies....I know this thread's been out there a while.
I decided to let MCC have a go a tweaking the seat and I pick it up Friday. Also ordered an Airhawk R to have on the long trips just for extra insurance. I've considered other Harley seats like the Zeppelin, but the demo program doesn't apply to older bikes, and these shots in the dark are kinda expensive.
I had purchased a Hammock a couple of weeks ago and, while that is a nice seat, for me, the riding position isn't going to work out. I tried to get used to the further back and higher riding position, but it's not working for me. If anyone is looking for a nearly new non heated Hammock for a '97 to '07 EG or RG (part #52000072), shoot me a PM!
Looking forward to the latest MCC seat mod and get it back on the bike. I've got it tore apart now waiting for cables from Magnum for the 12" mini apes install!
