I store mine on my cheapo HF jack for the winter without any issues. I have done it for the past 3 winters without any issue. I do use the locks on it to keep the weight off of the actual jack.
Not according to what I have read in several publications. Claims were the TIRES (American for tyres) get flat spots. That being said, as long as the bike is raised. But I have no personal experience as I ride my bike year round. I think the latest HOG magazine may have a write up on this but could have been one of my other magazines.
I've been riding since the 60s! Admittedly I rode all year round back then, but since the 70s I have had several bikes at any one time, with only one being used year round. I have never had any problems with flat spots with those I left unused for the winter months. We didn't know about flat spots back then! Now we know they are not a problem, we jack bikes up. Longer term storage would make doing that worthwhile.

I never tire of spelling tyre correctly!
LMAO. Was just jagging ya. Again like I said I can only go by what I have read as I ride year round. Don't know why a bike mag would write about it though if there was not at least a hint of truth to it. Even my cages get at least temporary flat spots when I leave them sit for a while but ride out after just a couple miles. So grbrown, hope your tyre's continue not get flat spots....
