I did a Search on them and I see a lot of guys with newer Touring bikes are installing them, why?
Seems most of them are installing the Hayden for smoother shifting and lots of other reasons but it's unclear as to if they really help.
Could you that have installed the Hayden chain tensioner give a report on them?
Did the help in some way?...Thanks

UP-DATE
I went out tonight and took the cover off and all looks good, but the chain seems to tight to me. Been a long time since I adjusted a chain but it seems to me it was about 1/2" to 5/8" of movement up and down, cold.
I have to push firm up and down to even get 3/8" movement. Unless that's the way the 07 and up should be?
My Service Manual just said to drive the bike to adjust, but if that makes it to tight, I may need to buy a Hayden. Any one know what the chain adjustment spec is?
You guys that have the Hayden do you still recommend them? Thanks.
Quote from my original post, "I installed the Hayden on my 2009 SG several weeks ago. The Hayden website says the shifts will "click." No clicks and it still clunks and shifts like the original chain tensioner. The bike does ride smoother especially at highway speeds."
The ride is smoother and it feels smoother in the seat, especially at highway speeds.
I put one on my 06RG last year and ended up taking it back off. Seems that it could never take the slack out of the chain despite setting it up correctly. I could always hear the chain slapping against the inside of the case. I changed the compensator sprocket cover (spring pack) but that didn't fix things. Please, don't tell me about the SE upgrade for the compensator. It's for the 07s and later.
Just a waste of beer money, how many thousands of owners never had a lick of problems with the stock hydraulic setup, let's hear some success stories !
