Default Ipod Interface with Amp Installed

Question is I have a 09 Ultra Classic with two hogtune Amps installed inside the fairing one 4 channel ontop of the radio and one 2 channel mounted with the hogtunes relocation bracket. I have been looking at the Ipod Interface that allows the Ipod to go in the tour pack and be able to control settings right at the handlebars, currently have it mounted on Kuryakyn gas cap mount, is there enough room still left under the fairing to mount a HDPDPLUS 11 or a boom audio interface with the current Amps installed.

Thanks, did you have any problems with the 35 pin connector placing the HDPDPLUS under the radio? I have heard that it can be challenging, I've also been told that not at all of the 35 wires need to be used. Not quite sure without taking the fairing back off if the Amps already uses this plug.

yeah I have an 07 ultra and had problems hooking up the 35 pin so i did there "other" hookup. I read there instructions and did what they said and had no problems on hooking up my hddplus (iron Cross) i pod interface. If you still have your CB installed on top of your radio the hddplus fits right next to it no height difference.

The new HDPDPLUS2 has addressed the issue with fitting the 35 pin connector under the fairing with the elimination of the big connector block.

Wondering if somebody here can help me with the install. I purchased a used one and all the instructions are good except I am not sure how to attach the red and black wires to the 23 Pin connector. Maybe a part is missing?
