Default Possible ABS Issue ??

I am new to the forum.

I recently took delivery of a 2013 Ultra Classic Limited. I noticed after about 100 miles or so that when I apply the rear brake, the rear of the bike shimmies. I took the bike back to the dealer Friday and asked them to investigate the shimmy. The tech test rode the bike and said it is normal for a bike with ABS that isn't broken in....

Is this true and what can I expect when it is broken in?

Thanks,

StraightEd

It is NOT because the bike is new or due to ABS. It is the design of the bikes frame with the motor. This "vibration" you are feeling is coming from the motor. Test my theory out easy enough. Take a ride and while doing 30 -40 mph shut off the bike and them apply the rear brake and it will be a smooth as silk. With the motor running you get the pulsating. Has nothing to do with ABS.
