Has anyone used this SanDisk Sansa Clip Zip MP3 player with their touring sound system? I am looking for an inexpensive unit to use and I am looking for input about hooking it up to the scoot.
NO, I have not used the search feature and I have no intention to.
I have one and GF has an ipod. Sunlight is a bitch, but since it sits in the saddle bag its not so bad. Got it in February and one day I noticed the volume was stuck on high. Returned it to Sandisk and it took about a month to get a new one.
With the apple, you need their software to add and remove music. The sandisk just looks like another drive and is easier that way.
Mine will hold a charge for quite a while, but it won't play while charging or plugged into the PC. Not sure what the ipod does. I got the 4gb with a $10 off coupon at Radio Shack and added an 8gb card. Had I got their extended warranty, they would have swapped it right there.
JMO...Anything's better then giving Apple your money...If they made an Apple car, you'd have to put Apple air in the Apple tires. Apple gas..Apple oil...
If you're an Apple fan...fine...More power to ya...I find having opptions more attractive.
Have 3 clips for my ride.....a piece of velcro on the back of the clip with the other half on a hanger on the bike and down the road we go.....always carry a spare clip and charger so I am never out of tunes.....sounds great.....easy to use.....
